Introducing
Dr Theresa Meintjes

In 2016, she started to practice privately. She currently practices at Medi-Clinic in Durbanville.

Additionally, she does an outreach in Vredendal every eight weeks. This gives her a chance to treat patients from outlying areas, such as Springbok and Namaqualand.

Dr Theresa Meintjes grew up on a farm near Reitz in the Free State. After matriculating from Reitz High School, she further obtained her medical degree from the University of the Free State in 2006.

She went on to complete her internship at Tygerberg Academic Hospital, but it was during her time of completing community service at Kimberly Hospital, that she gained invaluable surgical and urological experience. Thus began her love for urology. She was then employed as a medical officer in the department of Urology at Kimberley Hospital.

She did her registrar training at Tygerberg Academic Hospital and completed her post-graduate studies in Urology at the University of Stellenbosch.
